

DOM SANTORO
is a drummer, guitarrist, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist musician (percussion and strings) with a passion for different cultures, rhythms, world music, travels, photography, videography and skateboard.
He started in music very early in his life; always fascinated by his family LP collection and with very accurate hearing that caught the attention of his family members in the early stages of his life, he prodigy started to play the electric guitar in the 90' at the age of four, but it was when he discovered the drums that he solidified his path as a musician. In 1997 he joined the "Orchestra La Salle" in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and three years later at the age of fourteen, he was touring with them as their main drummer, as he pointed, those times were of immense apprenticeship and a very important starting point in his journey understanding the music and its arrangements.
He started a Progressive Metal band with two other members of OTLS in 1998 and won twice consecutively Best Drummer in the "ROCK CEIA" an Independent Music Festival hosted by the School Association "C.E.I.A." very renewed in the 90' Niteroi independent music scene. He mastered his crafts by studying with the renowned Brazilian drummers Marcio Bahia, Claudio Infante, and Alfredo Mitidieri with whom became a great friend and influence in his playing through the years.
Seeking new experiences in his musical career, he moved to the USA in 2009 and subsequently to London, Sydney, Auckland and Barcelona following the footsteps of his idols and working with different bands and independent artists on four different continents.
